WHEN IS ELECTRIC WOODLANDS?
Electric Woodlands festival will take place on Friday 1st July & Saturday 2nd July 2022. (Subject to license).
CAN I BRING ALCOHOL TO THE FESTIVAL?
Alcohol may only be brought into the festival campsite, and only if you have a camping ticket. There is a limit of 6 cans of beer, lager or cider or ONE plastic 1 litre bottles of cider / wine per person (this must be in a plastic sealed bottle. NO GLASS is allowed on site). Strictly no spirits of hard liquor are allowed.
Personal Alcohol or Food are not permitted into the event arena, just the camping site.
Please note searches will be undertaken upon entry to ensure this is complied with.
CAN I BRING FOOD AND SOFT DRINKS TO THE FESTIVAL?
Sealed drinks, like bottles of water and soft drinks, are allowed but will be checked on entry to the site.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO ATTEND?
Electric Woodlands is an 18+ festival. Acceptable forms of ID are a passport, drivers licence or Citizencard with approved hologram. Photocopies and screenshots of ID will not be accepted by security.
WILL THERE BE CASH ON SITE?
There are no cash machines on site, so please ensure you have sufficient cash for your journey and time at the festival, or an alternative electronic payment method. All our vendors will accept cash and card (apart from car parking, which will need to be secured in advance).
CAN I BUY FOOD AND ALCOHOL AT THE FESTIVAL?
Free drinking water is widely available but please bring a plastic refillable container (which you’ll have to empty before entry).

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY TICKET?
Weekend camping tickets will get you festival access to the music on Friday and Saturday, as well as access to the camping ground from Friday till Sunday.
Weekend Day tickets will get you festival access on the Friday and the Saturday, but do not allow you to stay on site or access the campsite after hours. All Weekend Day ticket holders must leave the site after the show on Friday and can return on the Saturday.

HOW CAN I GET TO ELECTRIC WOODLANDS?
Please note, if you want to park on site you will need to pre-purchase your parking ticket from our official ticket seller, Skiddle. This can be done via our tickets page here. There will be a drop off/pick up point on site for those in cabs or taking lifts.
If you wish to travel by train, the closest convenient station is Baldock Station. Details of an official shuttle bus service can be found below.
IS THERE A SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE?
Shuttle buses will be operating to and from both Baldock and Stevenage Stations at various points throughout the weekend. Single tickets are £7, and Return tickets are £10 (both prices subject to booking fees).
Shuttle buses will primarily operate between Friday 1st July and Sunday 3rd July.
Baldock Station operating times
Friday: 1pm to 9pm
Saturday: 5.30am to 7.30am
Saturday: 11am to 5.55pm
Sunday: 6.15am to 1.00pm
Stevenage operating times
Sunday morning only: 5.30am to 6.30am
CAN I TAKE A TAXI TO THE FESTIVAL?
If you are travelling from local accommodation or live nearby, we strongly recommend that you pre-book your taxi to and from the festival. A designated pick up and drop off point for taxis and private vehicles will be clearly signed once on the festival site, so please initially follow the postcode SG7 5JX.
CAN I WALK TO THE FESTIVAL?
It is not possible to access the festival on foot as the roads around the festival are not suitable for pedestrians. All ticket holders must enter and exit the site by either private vehicle, shuttle bus or taxi.
Drop offs & collections must be made in the designated area within the festival site, where they’ll be assisted by our traffic and security teams. A small taxi rank will be available on site, but pre-booking your return journey is strongly recommended to avoid lengthy waiting times.
CAN I PARK ON SITE AT ELECTRIC WOODLANDS?
Parking on site will be available to book in advance for either day sessions or weekend long passes. Make sure you get yours when you buy your tickets!
WHAT FACILITIES ARE ON THE CAMPSITE?
Amenities on the campsite will include toilets, showers, and freshwater taps.
CAN I BRING MY LIVE-IN VEHICLE OR CAMPERVAN?
There is no provision for live in vehicles on the festival site, and attendees will not be able to stay in any parked vehicle overnight.
CAN I BRING VALUABLES TO THE FESITVAL?
All items left in the campsite are left at the attendee’s own risk. It is recommended that all important personal belongings are always kept with you whilst at the event and that you bring a suitable bag or belt to keep these items in. There are no facilities for lockers on site.
CAN I BRING AN EXTRA TENT OR SHELTER?
No gazebos, additional tents or unnecessarily oversized tents will be allowed in the campsite. Please note that you cannot drive into the campsite so all items will need to be carried from the carpark and drop off points, which is an approximately 5 minute walk.
HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR THE WEATHER?
We prepare well for all weather conditions, and we ask our attendees to do the same. Please ensure you bring suitable clothing for wet weather and changes of clothes to keep you warm at night. Ensure you bring appropriate sunscreen and insect repellent along with a refillable water container.
SECURITY & WELFARE
WHAT ITEMS AREN’T ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL?
The following items are prohibited anywhere on site at Electric Woodlands;
- 2-way radios
- Airhorns and megaphones
- Home-purchased alcohol & glass bottles
- Animals, except authorised assistance dogs
- Any item which may cause offence, danger, or disruption to another person.
- Barbecues or camping stoves
- Campfires / fire-pits
- Fireworks, flares, candles, or pyrotechnics, inc. Chinese / paper lanterns
- Gas bottles
- Glass of any kind
- Goods for unauthorised trading
- Illegal substances
- Legal highs & new psychoactive substances
- Nitrous oxide and any associated equipment (balloons, CO2 dispensers etc)
- Portable laser equipment and pens
- Professional cameras, film, or video equipment
- Sound systems
- Unofficial high visibility tabards or jackets
- Large supplies of food may not be allowed (at discretion of security)
- Any bottles with a broken seal will not be allowed.
- Weapons of any kind or any items that could reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
WILL THERE BE WELFARE/MEDICAL FACILITEIS ON SITE?
The medical team are always present on site and will be clearly visible. If you need to bring any medication to the festival, please ensure you bring it in the proper container, with the valid prescription and present it to security at entry.
The Welfare team are available 24 hours a day to support all attendees. They offer a supportive and non-judgemental environment for anyone facing challenging or distressing experiences in a safe and calm space.
DO YOU HAVE A COVID POLICY?
The health and safety of all our staff and attendees is of the upmost importance and all current guidelines and regulations will be adhered to. If you are attending the festival, please follow and adhere to all current guidelines available at https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/
We may update our entry requirements relating to Covid-19 at any time prior to the festival and will alert all attendees of any changes.
WHAT SECURITY WILL BE PRESENT?
We take the security of attendees seriously. Working with our security partner we aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment.
To facilitate this please always comply with the security team and follow the guidance below;
- Lock your car and don’t leave any valuables in it.
- Bring as few valuables onto site as possible and bring a suitable small bag to always keep them on you.
- Download the Find My iPhone (or Android equivalent) app.
- If you see or hear of any crime, unreasonable or suspicious behaviour please report it one of our stewarding or security staff who will be always clearly identifiable.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY LOST PROPERTY?
Lost property hand-in points will be clearly signed and any lost property handed in will be logged by our security partners and securely stored on site. If you lose something, please contact one of our security or stewarding staff.
